Yosi Horikawa | Bubbles
Chiba-based artist, Yosi Horikawa has been experimenting with found sound since he was 12 years old. For him, everything has the potential to be manipulated and made into a song. For example, bouncing ping-pong balls, urban noise and footsteps on gravel are all fair game.
Over the last couple years, Yosi has been subtly showcasing his talents. Thus far he’s released two EPs through labels Eklektik and Ubeat respectively, and just last year, Yosi has the pleasure of further refining his craft over at the Red Bull Music Academy in Madrid.
His latest offering, “Bubbles,” which premiered yesterday on XLR8R, is the first track from his Wandering EP, which is out now on DJ Gilla’s First World Imprint. Cop all four tracks here.
