Sam Willis | Winterval
Sam Willis is poised to release his debut LP Winterval on London-based label Half Machine on November 5th. Willis has put out his work on other labels including Rekids, and RVNG, but this will be his most substantial batch of songs released to date.
He has also released two records with Alesio Natalizia as Walls via Kompakt, and can be heard on dance floors as part of the DJ outfit ALLEZ-ALLEZ.
The title track is an atmospheric slow-cooker propelled along by a tight 4/4 groove- so if you’re going to listen to it- sit back, relax, and let go. (In other words, don’t skip to 1:34 and nod your head for 8 seconds and then skip to 3:40 etc.)
