8prn is a young, Vancouver-based producer known legally by the name of Patrick Holland. Aligned with Jellyfish Recordings, Patrick has been said to offer eager listeners “downtempo IDM, filled with field recordings, off-kilter beats, lo-fi samples, and tweaked vocals.” [via 2012.newformsfestival.com]

The single, About Me, was set free by the artist but 4 months ago and features the likes of an original recording from fellow Vancouver-based vocalist, Francesca Belcourt. The chemistry between Patrick and Francesca is nothing short of delectable.

In anticipation of Vancouver’s New Forms Festival, we here at Low-Life are looking forward to pay witness to 8prn, amongst other artists, the weekend of September 14th, 2012 at the Waldorf Hotel.
