George Lewis Jr. has revealed that his self-produced sophomore album, Confessions ( 4AD ), will see a release at the beginning of July. In a press release, Lewis mentioned that the forthcoming record was enlivened by the motorcycle rides he took on the black roads of Los Angeles. He took a rather long break from the bike following a nasty accident a few years back.
Complete with nostalgic synth lines, the lead single distinctly sounds like it was born in the eighties.
