It’s my pleasure to share a preview of the latest track from Sub Antix . That’s right this is fresh- as in ‘last night fresh’. I listened to this bittersweet tune take shape over the past couple days at our very own recording facilities here at the Low-Life lair.
You’ll enjoy the towering synth chords and the breezy gliding lead line- If you’ve got a taste for Flux Pavillion’s ‘wall-of-synths’ and his infectious melodies, I think you could be in for a treat from Sub Antix.

Cosmin TRG | Bijoux
Cosmin TRG is a Romanian electronica producer with releases on Hot Flush and Tempa. This deep broken beat is so slick it will make you feel like you just got a devilishly sexy haircut and a pair of brand new shoes.
On his youth Cosmin TRG comments,
“I was born in Romania about 28 years ago. I still live here and it’s a bit surreal. I grew up to classical music, jazz and disco, the only son of a single mother, I was a handful and I still am. I wrote a few books when I was about 15 which was weird- but I moved on from wunderkind to be lured by wet basements and bass booming out of warehouses.”
On the electronic music underground in Bucharest,
“It’s a quirky scene: sometimes it feels really retro and people seem a bit out of touch, but then someone puts on a night that makes Resident Advisor drool. I guess it takes Bucharest a bit of time to catch up and adjust, but then it’s bang on. There’s good techno, good house, dubstep, drum and bass, electro, much more happening than in some slick European cities I’ve played. ”

Hudson Mohawke | Thunder Bay
This young Scottish producer had us playing Fuse over and over again over the past little while. Hudson Mohawke is based out of Glasgow- he released his debut LP on Warp earlier this year. Like Flying Lotus, Hudson Mohawke connected with Warp during his time at the Red Bull Music Academy.
Thunder Bay is a cheeky and obnoxious brassy bass driven beat overlaid with spastic snares and pick-up kicks and chopped & screwed 90s diva vox.
