Ghost Mutt | Sweat Mode EP
The Sweat Mode EP by Ghost Mutt was released mid January of this year. Ghost Mutt, birthed from Brighton UK, initially caught my inquisitive ears with the release of his very funky Donky Stomp EP . (Specifically through the single, Thoroughbred- see previously )
The free four-track EP features whiney R&B hooks and frenzied, hacked-up bass rhythms that are almost guaranteed to move your body in all sorts of directions. The EP was put forth by the also Brighton based label, Donky Pitch . Sweat Mode, though a mere 12 minutes, underlines the delicious and widespread trend of electronic producers blending the best aspects of both R&B and electronica.
