Indian Wells | Night Drops
Today, Italian beatmaker Indian Wells has introduced himself with Night Drops , his debut album out on Bad Panda . The record, which is slightly reminiscent of Shlohmo ‘s Bad Vibes , is seamlessly woven together by a backbeat of samples taken from tennis matches (hence the title of the opening track, “Wimbledon 1980″). The volleys essentially compose the rhythm.
