Kieran Fearing | Glass Of Wine (BOHA remix)
BOHA, a.k.a Tom Speakman of Vancouver’s Chapel Sound crew, recently injected some swing into Kieran Fanning‘s hauntingly beautiful “Glass of Wine.” Speakman layers skittering percussion over top a lush subby 808 kick, chops and re-samples piano, and processes Fanning’s vocals with an eerie glaze.
Be sure to cop a free download if you’re feeling it.
And here is the original in case you missed it–it’s well worth listening to. Fanning delivers subdued chords and a bittersweet melancholic lullaby. If Thom Yorke’s falsetto makes you swoon, I suggest you offer Kieran Fearing your ears for a few minutes.
Looking forward to hearing more from both of these Vancouver natives.
