In his latest remix of “Sunset”, Jamie xx conjures up a thumping, guitar-driven four-to-the-floor piece that expands on the original, which he also produced for his band’s most recent album, Coexist. The UK beatsmith debuted the track during his Boiler Room set a few weeks back and there was some speculation as to who had actually crafted the edit. Now that that’s all cleared up, download the song over at iTunes here. The rework was released as part of iTunes’ holiday download series and for the next 48 hours, it’s free-of-charge, accompanied by videos of “Angels,” live in Tokyo, and “Chained.”
