24 year old London-based R&B vocalist and producer Sampha is best known for his collaborative work. However, with the release of his “Dual” EP via Young Turks, and more specifically the closing track of the EP “Can’t Get Close”, Sampha has shown that his teeming emotion does not necessarily require a collaborative effort. The sixth and final track of the EP is a beat-less gospel-esque layer cake of beautiful harmonies with Sampha’s raw lead vocals dressed overtop.
