Nikki Noek | Good Mood ft. Shanyana [NP028]
Nikki Noek , the main man behind Moscow-based NOPASSPORT Records , returns to his label with an irresistible deep tech-house single aptly titled “Good Mood”, which features the infectious child-like falsetto of Shanyana – a.k.a. Tatyana Shamanina, lead singer of the well-known Guru Groove Foundation band, also based out of Moscow.
For remix duties, Noek calls on The Mekanism (Exploited, Noir Music, Sintope Digital), Cucumbers (Hotfingers, Sleazy G, Highway Records) and Davydov & Intermedium (Insert Coin, Grusha Music).
Upon first listen through the EP, the clear stand-out cut for me is the original mix.
