Trus’Me shared this mixtape of exotic soothing Brazillian music that he picked up at local record shops in Rio. The mix is inspired by Ipanema beach:
“This October I fulfilled a boy hood dream, when I visited Ipanema Beach before my show in Rio De Janeiro. As I expected the beach was full with beautiful people, beach football& & music everywhere. I took this photo just shortly after several hours digging in the capital for records. This mix is a collection of finds from both Sao Paulo and Rio, there is records for days! I hope you enjoy this selection as much as I enjoyed putting it together. Please feel free to download and enjoy on your next beach trip.”

Seth Troxler put up this mixtape a few days back, and he had a few words to share along with it:
“With my Rhythm Control mix I wanted to explore a slightly different sound than what people know me for in clubs, and create something that sounds timeless. I’ve drawn inspiration from different places in time and different styles, and I saw this as a way for me to collect into one place all of those more eclectic influences that continue to inspire me. Most of all this is a mix of slow jams and indie rock to bring some heat in on those cold cold winter nights.”

Talamanca System – Balanzat [IFEEL034]
Out November 10th 2014 via International Feel , Talamanca System’s “Balanzat” is a lush balearic bliss trip.
Supposedly, this single has been a year in the making. I’ll share a snippet of the press release because I like the story:
“A single track with four interpretations, all at the hands of a new creative connection between International Feel founder Mark Barrott , German scene veteran / Running Back boss Gerd Janson and his production partner Phillip Lauer aka Tuff City Kids. The story begins at a late dinner party at Barrott’s Ibizan hideaway in the Summer of 2013, when, in keeping with his ‘if you’re not using it, give it away’ approach to life, Mark gave Gerd his Studio Electronics ‘Boomstar 303′ synth. Gerd was so determined to repay this lavish gesture that he offered to do a remix of a track Barrott was working on. After plenty of back and forth, one remix became a full collaboration and four different versions later (gotta love German productivity), the Balanzat EP was born.”
