Out this Monday on AUS Music , Sei A ‘s Make It Work EP features two dark driving hypnotic singles, a remix from Breach , and a bonus track titled “Hing”.
(Upon first listen through, for me, the stand-out cut is the title track…)
Tom Demac and Will Samson worked together on “It Grows Again” and “Chasing Shadows” for AUS Music –Will providing the wistful indecipherable falsetto and Tom laying down the groove. The third track is a remix is by Tom, under his Formula alias, and it’s aimed squarely at the dance-floor.
(Upon first listen through, the Formula mix is my pick of the EP. The deep rumbling sub paired with the uk-garage swing of the drums hits the spot! That said, the original mix is lovely.)

Brighton-based beat-maker Leon Vynehall chooses to hold on to his true identity. The DJ/producer has made some noise in the UK house scene as of late, and it easy to understand why as he effortlessly blends soul, funk, and disco music with the four on the floor sound we know and love. His latest cut, “Sister”, is being represented by the folks at AUS Music , the label that has been putting forth work from other UK house producers such as George Fitzgerald and Bicep .On Fitzgeralds label, ManMakeMusic , Leon released today a collaboration with Christian piers under the alias “ Lazlo Dancehall “; check out that release here .
