Civil Music summates the virtues of Xavier’s addition as a, “melee of jack-knifing riddims, booby trapped syncopation and bass heavy collisions.” Akoula debuted on Gilles Peterson ‘s last ever show on the BBC Radio 1. Xavier melts Ginuwine ‘s classic down to a state of an aqueous, yet heavy-hitting bliss. dÉbruit’s new album drops on the 4th of June 2012.
