Igor Vicente | The Knight [HOTCO46]

Belgian producer Igor Vicente provides two originals for the latest release on Hot Creations . Label-boss Jamie Jones does remix duty on the title cut.

“The Knight” is a sparse but slamming dark chugger overlaid with creepy unintelligible whispers and dissonant disco strings.

The standout cut for me without question is the remix by Mr. Jones, which bears his unmistakable signature. The simple two-bar bass line together with the cheeky lead, the hushed vocal hook, and the driving 909 groove make an infectious combination.
