MeLo-X has what you would call a sonic oriented mind. In his own words, his “mind is never incarcerated in any specific field, or genre. This allows [him] to explore the true possibilities of my artistic freedom.” His versatility as an artist stems from his string of passions, which range from photography to fashion to DJing for artists such as Theophilus London and Mickey Factz . Above all that, the man has quite the gift for producing himself. His alchemic collaborative project Zulu Guru , an LP crafted alongside RBMA graduate Jesse Boykins III , debuted on Ninja Tune a few days back. Take a listen to that right here .
