Howse | Trakz EP
Baltimore-based producer Howse has j ust recently revealed the fruits of his labor with his latest work, Trakz EP, and in a collage of pacifying sounds, Howse manages to hold true to his particular sonic signature. The nine-track album was befittingly picked up and released on the Brooklyn beat collective Astro Nautico - here’s wha t they had to say about it:
“Trakz, while distinctly influenced by the primal immediacy and broken soul of select juke/footwork tracks, holds much more beneath the surface. Low fidelity crackle, ghostly R’n'B samples, and a constant sense of drift, simultaneously unsettling and sedating, permeate this release.”
