DeWalta | Jog Trot
DeWalta , known to friends and family as David Koch, has a long and intricate musical background dating back to age seven when he first picked up the French horn. With an established music journalist for a grandfather, Koch was introduced to early American jazz and the music of the Beatnik movement at a very young age. (He was already teaching himself jazz by the time he was 10 years old.)
Long story short, a few years back Koch founded his Meander imprint and began releasing his debut electronic pieces. So, it’s no shock that his latest is a savoury tune polished with pronounced jazz influences. “Jog Trot” is a bonus track from his most recent LP, Wander .
