Vanessa Fernandez and Octover, alias Vandetta, came to our attention recently when she leant her chops to a collaboration between Strangeloop and Austin Peralta . Vanessa was raised in Singapore but now resides in Los Angeles alongside the aforementioned Alpha Pup / Brainfeeder wizards. It’s apparent that another Alpha Pup member, low-life associate Jonwayne , is a confidant of hers. Mr. Wayne is featured on her Tumblr where she hypes his This is False Mix Tape , and displays a character summarizing photo of him. This vocal rendition of Jon’s “Geometer” remix (Slidecamp) adds timeless dimension to an already seemingly flawless arrangement.
