Lapalux deconstructs the glossy original, synthesizing its parts into a frantic, densely layered amalgamation of manipulated vocal cuts and supplemental synth and percussion lines. Somehow, through texturing, bending and warping his noises, Howard manages to craft a swinging, soul-inflected tune from almost completely synthetic sound.
