Jesse Futerman | Fuse The Witches EP

Canada’s own Jesse Futerman released the Fuse The Witches EP today on net-label Jus Like Music .  We were given a taste of the EP just a few months back when Gilles Peterson featured Yusef on BBC Radio 1. A year on from his debut release, Super Basement , Fuse The Witches still holds Jesse’s distinct 70′s jazz-break style and features Canadian hip-hop producer and one of Jesse’s own idols; DJ Alibi .

”I’ve sampled from a wider array of sources such as records from my father’s collection as well as numerous film soundtracks. Despite this, I think I’ve managed to retain a strong jazzy sound while perhaps creating a more cohesive release overall. Let’s not forget the Stine Supreme…”
