Miles Davis once said, “Music is the space between the notes. It’s not the notes you play; it’s the notes you don’t” – a comment that Mike Volpe certainly took to heart in his lush and jazzy rework of Big K.R.I.T.’s “Moon and Stars.” The remix was released in December of 2011. However, last week, Clammy Clams posted the instrumental, a rather straightforward yet charming production that as Volpe says, is fitting for the warm weather.
