Shadow Child | The Only One

Yesterday, Shadow Child granted his fans a chance to experience his mellifluous bass-house monument off the forthcoming Dirtybird Players Compilation. “The Only One” encapsulates the harmonious vault-like bass that Dirtybird has become known for – while simultaneously concreting a signature style within those low-end realms. There’s an enterprisingly cheeky, yet cheerful weight to this track that reminds me of the amount of flailing I did ’round the room when I first heard Shadow Child’s “23″ dropped  at the beginning of the infamous Skream B2B Disclosure @ Boiler Room (W Hotel London).

With the 27th of Feb being the release date perhaps we the internet can hope for a couple more samples from the lineup of filthy birds in this roll call. Here is a list of the names and their associated tracks that will be bannering across your various mp3 devices for 2013:
