To use the words of Groundislava - from the ashes of LOL Boys rises Jerome LOL and he’s already killing it. The boys, who we’ve had playing on repeat since they unleashed their striking EP, Changes, announced today that they would be parting ways and going on an indefinite hiatus. Both extended their gratitude to their widespread fan base and as a generous thank you gift, posted a link (see below) to the edits from their Fader mix. If we had to choose, “Levels” and their rework of “Tonight”, (that John Legend track that was also cut and screwed in Shlohmo’s MoMA/PS1 Fader mix ), would have to be some of our favourites.

Fortunately, Jerome has already set forth on his solo project, Jerome LOL , and mentioned that we should be keeping an eye out for Markus’ as well. Jerome LOL introduced himself today with a mini-EP, which features a “happy song and a sad song” so go ahead and breathe a sigh of relief. Download the individual tracks below.
