Anthony Naples made quite a name for himself in 2012 with a multitude of releases: ‘ Mad Disrespect’ and ‘ Moscato ‘ on Mister Saturday Night , one release on Opal Tapes ‘ ‘ Cold Winter ‘ compilation, and finally a B-side remix for Four Tet ‘s ‘ 128 Harps ‘.

His 12″,  ’ El Portal, ‘ off of Will Bankhead ‘s aesthetically cunning label, The Trilogy Tapes , is his latest venture.

Naples’ sticks to his signature dark blend of progressive house and techno in ‘ El Portal ,’ though with the chord progression in “Busy Signals,” he shows off a more melodic side that I hope will be taken further advantage of in the future.

This is my personal favourite from the 4 track EP.

In terms of his entire body of work, the B-Side from his most recent Mister Saturday Night ‘s release, ‘ Moscato,’ is surely one of his finest peices:
